Repair Services
Our devoted service staff consists of mechanics with combined experience exceeding 45 years and includes graduates of accredited industry training facilities and others that have perfected their skills working on race circuits and in a variety of shops. We can help you with everything from changing a cable to building you a new set of wheels, and we are happy to report that nearly all of our customers have returned to us for service ever since we opened our doors in 2003.
We carry a full line of standard, replacement-level parts for most bicycles, though we have access to just about any group or part you may request. Please ask us about what you may not see in the shop, as our distributors carry thousands of bicycle parts and accessories. Our orders are placed on Saturdays, generally, and items are ready for purchase by early Wednesday.
We do our best to turn most bicycle repairs around within two to three days, but a large part of our service is same-day. Some procedures require more than one day, and our mechanics are also salespeople, so please call us, in advance, if you need same-day service. Please be advised, as stated on our tickets, that we do have a 14-day pickup policy. Any bicycles left beyond this amount of time, after initial notification, become the property of the shop. We prefer to get bicycles back to their owners, but we are a small shop, and we are frequently faced with very little storage space.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a standard and a major tune-up?
Cleaning the bicycle is part of a major tune-up, though parts are not removed and degreased as they are in a drivetrain cleaning. A standard tune-up addresses only the mechanical operation of the bicycle and includes a mild cleaning. What is the shop supply fee?
This fee is assessed for every major tune-up and drivetrain cleaning to cover some of the cost of shop towels, lubricant, and maintaining our parts cleaner.
